Meet Fred Agbeyegbe

Fred Agbeyegbe is a lawyer and a playwright. His legal practice seem to be to fit into the system but his playwrighting is brightens his soul.


Agbeyegbe is an octogenarian whose work ‘The King Must Dance Naked’ has become canon for conversations for theatre in Africa.

Agbeyegbe will be the chair for the colloquium happening at the Kongi Harvest’s Arts Gallery. The conversation Democracy and Self Determination is drawn from this year’s Theme, Texts of Self Determination.
